After an enquiry from our website and a visiting the A-dec Showroom together Liz Eilertsen tasked DecaDent with building her a SQUAT practice in a Plymouth business park. Liz had some ideas she wanted to incorporate having seen these missing features from practice she had previously worked in. For example, an expandable dedicated training area in the heart of the practice, not just some badly lit back office, and a secret corridor so the surgeries could be reached without seeing patients.
DecaDent’s design and build team started with empty shell in April 2022 and handed it over in July, the practice has a warm, relaxed feel with all the trappings of a modern dental surgery. The practice was designed with expansion and longevity in mind, with ultra reliable A-dec 500 dental chairs, cabinetry from UV design feationg solid surface door fronts and worktops.
Since DecaDent completed and handed over the practice, we have installed a 3rd surgery with another A-dec 500 dental chair. Liz is incredibly busy seeing patients six days a week, and although not in the centre of town this is surely a testament to “Build it and they will come”.
